FilmFeest. Ten behoeve van het goede doel organiseert Soroptimistclub De Bilt-Bilthoven filmvoorstellingen voor iederen in de gemeente. Op de Julianschool zullen alle kinderen een van vier films zien met het thema vrijheid, in Huize het Oosten worden zowel in de ochtend als in de avond films gedraaid waar iedereen heen kan.<\/p>\n<p>Zie voor alle details de flyer hieronder. Klik <a href=\"https:\/\/www.soroptimist.nl\/de-bilt-bilthoven\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/43\/2014\/04\/Flyer-FilmFeest-2015.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hier om de flyer te downloaden<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>De opbrengst van het Soroptimist FilmFeest 2015 gaat naar <a href=\"https:\/\/www.soroptimist.nl\/de-bilt-bilthoven\/projects-local\/afripads-foundation\/\">AFRIpads Foundation<\/a>. Deze stichting zorgt dat meisjes van het platteland van Oeganda naar school kunnen tijdens hun<br \/>\nmenstruatie, door hen gratis te voorzien van uitwasbaar maandverband. Dit laatste was een geheel nieuwe activiteit. De vier films voor de kinderen waren afgestemd op de leeftijd van zes tot en met twaalf jaar \u00e9n op het thema van het (afgelopen) clubjaar dat in het teken van \u2018Vrijheid\u2019 stond. Alle circa 500 kinderen van de Julianaschool in Bilthoven werden met de hulp van vele leden van de club van een lunch \u2013 met onder andere veel broodjes knakworst! \u2013 voorzien. De kinderen betaalden voor de lunch en op vrijwillige basis voor de film. Op dezelfde dag werden in de tuinzaal van Huize Het Oosten voor volwassenen \u2019s ochtends en \u2019s avonds films vertoond. Dankzij de medewerking van Wilde Ganzen wordt dit bedrag met 3.333 euro verhoogd. Met de opbrengst van het FilmFeest, de bridgedrive en nog een aantal andere bijdragen hebben wij ruim 15.000 euro aan AFRIpads Foundation kunnen overmaken.
