Doel is geld in te zamelen voor dit mooie project. Connect by Music heeft als doelstelling het organiseren en faciliteren van professioneel muziekonderwijs in Griekse vluchtelingenkampen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<br><br>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns alignwide is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:20%\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:60%\">\n<p>Update: de opbrengst Benefiet avond voor \u201cConnect by Music\u201d in de Woudkapel bedroeg circa \u20ac 1.900!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De avond begon met een presentatie door de soroptimist en docent klassieke talen Alwine Reinink, met als titel: \u201cWondergenezingen in Epidauros\u201d. Op inspirerende wijze nam zij haar toehoorders mee in de wereld van wondergenezingen in dit klassieke kuuroord. Zij beschreef de handelingen van de Griekse arts Asclepius, geboren in Epidauros. In zijn geneeswijzen speelden slangen een belangrijke rol. Het internationaal erkende symbool voor artsen, het esculaap, verwijst naar deze klassieke geneesheer. Later speelde ook Hippocrates in Epidauros een belangrijke rol. De eed van Hippocrates verwijst naar deze klassieke geneesheer. Tegenwoordig is Epidauros vooral bekend om zijn klassieke theater met zijn bijzondere akoestiek. Na de pauze volgde een recital met werken van Sarasate, Ravel, Chopin en Saint Sa\u00ebns. Violist Jeroen de Groot, ambassadeur en medeoprichter van Connect by Music speelde samen met pianist Brook Cuden. Het publiek luisterde ademloos naar hun uitvoering die van grote klasse was. Na meerdere ovaties speelden zij nog 3 toegiften.
