Met de opbrengst van de middag ondersteunen wij dit jaar het project <a href=\"https:\/\/www.soroptimist.nl\/de-bilt-bilthoven\/projects-local\/afripads-foundation\/\">AFRIpads<\/a>.\u00a0<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Deze stichting zorgt ervoor dat meisjes van het Oegandese platteland ook gedurende hun menstruatieperiode naar school kunnen, door hen gratis te voorzien van uitwasbaar maandverband. Met voorlichting probeert AFRIpads bovendien een taboe te doorbreken. De stichting is opgericht door de geboren Bilthovense Sanne Bolkenstein.
