Deelnemers kregen een rondleiding van Bert Pol, de eigenaar van het gebied, een professionele IVN-natuurgids. Pol ontwikkelt natuur op zijn voormalige landbouwgrond. In de schaduw van hoge bomen en met uitzicht op het  historische gemeentehuis Jagtlust van gemeente De Bilt leerden de deelnemers van ons clublid, Essentrics trainster Wendy Jacobs, technieken waarmee je je spieren kunt versterken \u00e9n verlengen. Met Essentrics belast je alle delen van je lichaam op een rustige en verantwoorde manier. Dit jaar met 24 koppels, onder wie mensen uit Groningen en Rotterdam! We vertoonden The Old Oak, over een pubhouder in een vervallen mijnwerkersstadje in Noord-Engeland. De film gaat over de spanningen die ontstaan wanneer een groep Syrische vluchtelingen in het dorp komt wonen. Een vriendschap ontstaat tussen de pubbaas en een jonge vluchtelinge. Samen nemen ze een bijzonder initiatief dat de gemeenschap uiteindelijk heel goed doet. Na de film konden bezoekers nog gezellig napraten onder het genot van een drankje. In een klein groepje heb je vaak mooie gesprekken.
