De campagne vindt ieder jaar door heel Nederland plaats van 25 november, de Internationale Dag tegen Geweld tegen Vrouwen, tot 10 december, de Internationale Mensenrechtendag. De dagen daartussen zijn de 16 Dagen van Actie. Inmiddels worden in meer dan 100 landen in deze periode worden gebouwen oranje uitgelicht en worden debatten, tentoonstellingen, demonstraties en allerlei andere activiteiten georganiseerd.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<br><br>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2025 is het thema van de campagne in Nederland \u201c<strong>Veilig, overal en altijd<\/strong>\u201d. Geweld tegen vrouwen en meisjes vindt plaats op allerlei plaatsen; op straat, bij het uitgaan, op het werk, op de sportclub, in cyberspace, in het openbaar vervoer, in het onderwijs, in de zorg, in studentenverenigingen, op festivals, op het strand, achter de voordeur en op alle andere plekken waar mannen en vrouwen, jongens en meisjes elkaar ontmoeten. Van seksuele intimidatie tot femicide. aan!<\/strong><br>Studio Moio zal op creatieve en theatrale wijze de optocht begeleiden.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>18.30 en 19.30 uur verzamelen op de Beestenmarkt en de &#8216;Another Day in Paradise&#8217; van Jeannie Zuiderwijk op MBO Rijnland<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De afgelopen 3 jaar zijn leerlingen van MBO Rijnland actief betrokken geweest in de OtW periode. In witte overalls spoten ze met milieuvriendelijke verf handjes in het Centrum van Leiden en trokken veel aandacht van voorbijgangers en de lokale pers.<br>Dit jaar zullen enkele leerlingen van de hybride klas Sociaal Werk de 1e jaars medeleerlingen door het OtW lespakket nemen. Ook zullen er 2 voorstellingen van dit theaterstuk over Huiselijk Geweld worden voor de leerlingen opgevoerd. De co\u00f6rdinatie en financiering zijn geheel in handen van MBO Rijnland.&nbsp;(de activiteiten zijn niet publiekelijk toegankelijk)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ca1f9e861fe5075bf35aa4d83b7a05fe\" style=\"color:#f87212\">Toneelstuk &#8216;Geen Vaarwel&#8217; op 2 december bij theater Ins Blau<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Rosa Manus en de Vrienden van Rosa Manus organiseren samen met Vrouwennetwerk Leiden eo deze activiteit. GEEN VAARWEL brengt het levensverhaal van de moeder van theatermaker Naomi Inez, die in 1996 om het leven is gebracht. Met dit toneelstuk wil ze stem geven aan de stemlozen, \u2018t stigma doorbreken, de verborgen problematiek rondom femicide bespreekbaar maken en een breder perspectief bieden op dodelijk geweld, via de kracht van muziek en theater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-72e62b6ca5c6ca0a5b0492951f3c66af\" style=\"color:#f87212\">Huizen van de Buurt &#8211; Incluzio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>brengen het thema \u2018veilig, overal en altijd\u2019 naar de Leidse wijken, zie&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.incluzioleiden.nl\/nieuws\/orange-the-world-in-jouw-huis-van-de-buurt\/\">https:\/\/www.incluzioleiden.nl\/nieuws\/orange-the-world-in-jouw-huis-van-de-buurt\/ &nbsp;<\/a>voor de activiteiten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ee1af62bae872d0b597ea728efe4bd20\" style=\"color:#f87212\">De Afsluiting op 10 December&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>VVAO afdeling Leiden nodigt jullie van harte uit voor deze Orange the World (OtW) activiteit i.s.m. Amnesty International Leiden. Amnesty International vraagt op deze dag van de Mensenrechten aandacht voor haar Write for Rights-campagne, met een gedicht van Baharah, een Afghaanse vrouw in Nederland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lezing door prof. dr. Marieke Liem: Herkennen van rode vlaggen die vooraf gaan aan femicide<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. dr. Marieke Liem is hoogleraar Veiligheid en Interventies aan de Universiteit Leiden. In Nederland worden elk jaar zo\u2019n 40 vrouwen vermoord. Bijna altijd door mannen. Hoe herken je deze mannen voordat er een moord gepleegd wordt? Vaak denken we aan een man in de bosjes, of juist de stalkende partner die zijn vrouw slaat. Maar als je alleen let op deze stereotypes, dan mis je veel belangrijke waarschuwings-signalen. Volgens Marieke Liem is het belangrijk om alle rode vlaggen van femicide te herkennen, dus ook van de plegers die we niet zo vaak in het nieuws zien.
