Hester den Ruiter in haar onderzoek naar <strong>Spontaneous Coronar Artery Dissection (SCAD),<\/strong> een aandoening waarbij spontaan scheurtjes in de vaatwand ontstaan, die een hartinfarct veroorzaken.<\/p>\n<p>Het blijkt dat <strong>90% <\/strong>van de pati\u00ebnten, <strong>vrouw<\/strong> is. Dit zijn veelal vrouwen, die zwanger of net bevallen vrouwen in de overgang.<\/p>\n<p>Met haar onderzoek hoopt Hester de oorzaak van de scheurtjes te vinden door de genen in de cellen in kaart te brengen. Hiervoor is per te onderzoeken hart ongeveer 5-6 duizend euro nodig.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Op <strong>zondag 1 november<\/strong> organiseren we een <strong>inzamelactie van spullen<\/strong>\u00a0 in samenwerking met Stichting Kringloop Zeist.
