Măriuca Băzăvan Labtop en studieboeken
Mariuca is wees en is door een lid van club Boekarest, die maatschappelijk werkster is, “onder de vleugels” genomen. Club Boekarest steunt haar daar waar mogelijk financieel, maar vooral immaterieel. Een van de leden heeft haar Engelse les gegeven op hoog nivo. Dat was een van de voorwaarden om een toelatingsexamen voor de studie medicijnen te kunnen doen. Als club hebben we het mogelijk gemaakt dat ze Engelse studieboeken en een laptop kon aanschaffen. Het studiefonds van SI heeft zich garant gesteld voor de kosten van haar 1e studiejaar aan de universiteit.
Een jongedame, die met support van onze friendshiplink Boekarest de schouders eronder zet. Wezijn trots op Mariuca! Chapeau.

Voortgang studie Mariucia (feb 2024)
Dear Mrs.Veenhuis,
I recently discovered three emails from you, so I apologize for answering you late. I am glad to hear that you always think of me.I’m fine, I’m in my 4th year at university and I have to tell you that I love it more and more each day. This year we started doing all the courses and seminars in the hospital, very often at the patient’s bedside and I really like it. It stars to resemble increasingly more with what I imagined medicine to mean. I started the semester with the cardiology internship and continued with gastroenterology and pulmonology. At the beginning of March I’ll have some important exams and then I’ll start other internships, such as: general surgery, pediatric surgery, oncology, radiology and orthopedics. In general, these internships last between 3 weeks and 2 months and a half and take place at different hospitals in Bucharest. I am very satisfied with the choice I made and more and more scared by the fact that it is slowly approaching the end. Anyway, I fully enjoy these moments because I know they are unique and urepeatable.I’m looking forward to spring and the beautiful weather that comes with it.
