MARIET VERHOEF-COHEN RECEIVES GLOBAL IMPACT AWARD 23RD JANUARY 2020
San Antonio, Texas, January 18, 2020 — The Evolutionary Business Council (EBC) announced our very own Mariet Verhoef-Cohen as the winner of its prestigious GLOBAL IMPACT Award for 2019 in the 6th Annual EBC Awards of Excellence. With a total member reach of over 614 million worldwide, the EBC is an invitation-only, global council of thought-leaders dedicated to teaching the principles of business success and personal transformation.
The GLOBAL IMPACT Award recognizes a non-member leader who has created a cutting edge, transformational, trail-blazing social impact within and beyond their target area of influence. Their work is creating transformational outcomes in and among organizations, systems, communities, and/or governments. Mariet says: “It is with great surprise, immense gratitude and honour that I accept this Evolutionary Business Council Global Impact Award, and I do so, on behalf of the many women & girls, Soroptimists, partners, and associates, and members of the Women for Water Partnership, who have joined me in dedicating energy, and commitment, in implementing sustainable grassroots projects, the Soroptimist International and Women, Water and Leadership programmes. In doing so, collectively, we have created transformational change for many marginalised women, girls and their communities worldwide. This award will inspire my own work going forward, as our work for women and girls is not yet done and I thank you for this wonderful opportunity and kind gesture”.
