Maak kennis met de nieuwe president van SIE: Anna Wszelaczyńska

Vanaf oktober is Anna Wszelaczyńska onze huidige president Soroptimist International Europe federation, biennium 2019-2021.

Anna zet voor ons het motto: “We stand up for Women” voort. Onderwijs, gender gelijkheid en geweld tegen vrouwen en kinderen zijn grote aandachtpunten voor haar. Zij is lid van de First Krakau Soroptimist club in Polen. Anna Wszelaczyńska is ervaren bestuursvoorzitter aan de academie voor training en competentie te Krakau, voorzitter van de raad van bestuur van de stad Krakau en tevens gids van deze stad. Anna hoopt ons allemaal te zien bij het 22ste SIE congres in Krakau juli 2021 bij viering van het 100-jarig bestaan van Soroptimisme!

The Board of Soroptimist International of Europe consists of the President, the President elect, the Immediate Past President, four Vice Presidents, the Treasurer and the Secretary General. These voting members are elected for a two-year term of office. However, the Treasurer can be re-elected for a second two-year term.
The officers of the Extended Board have responsibilities in line with the organisational model : Strategic Leadership, Programme and Advocacy, Communications, and Institutional Development/Extension. The Board leads the Federation and delivers its strategic plan, its goals and objectives. The members of the Board develop and implement a business plan for each biennium.
