SI Noorwegen nodigt je uit!
Corona is voorbij en SI Noorwegen pakt weer hun jaarlijkse traditie op waarbij zij twee Soroptimisten van andere Unies binnen SIE uitnodigen twee weken bij hen te gast zijn. Iedere Soroptimist die lid is van een club binnen SIE kan een aanvraag indienen voor deze bijzondere vorm van Soroptimist-scholarship met als doel uitwisseling van Soroptimist-ervaringen.
Je maakt kennis van de Noorse Unie, bent te gast bij verschillende Soroptimisten van clubs in de omgeving van Oslo en woont aan het eind de jaarlijkse weekendlange Noorse Unie-bijeenkomst bij in het weekeinde van 15-17 september 2023 in Hønefoss. De RvA van de Noorse Unie vindt dan ook plaats. Een unieke kans om veel nieuwe SIE Soroptimisten te leren kennen en veel van hen te leren. Ter plaatse worden al je onkosten gedekt. Alleen de reis naar Noorwegen komt voor jouw rekening. Zie hieronder de brief die de Noorse Unie aan onze Uniepresident stuurde hierover waarin je ook leest hoe je je kan aanmelden.

SI Norway are happy to be able to resume the annual tradition of inviting two sisters from European clubs to come visit us.
If anyone from your union would like to come see how Soroptimists in Norway are organizing our work locally and share experience from your
Soroptimist-activities with us, we would love to receive an application!
We will pick candidates from two different countries for the visit.
The visit has a timeframe for two weeks and culminates with the annual meeting in Hønefoss, Friday 15th to the 17th of September. The
scholarship includes a couple of days stay with a few of our local clubs in the district around Oslo, as well as travel expenses within Norway
during this period. Our guests will stay in private homes when visiting the clubs. The hosting club will cover all expenses in connection with
the stay with them.
The annual meeting takes place at Klekken Hotel, on the outskirt of Hønefoss, and will gather sisters from all over Norway from Friday night to Sunday afternoon.
Travel expenses to and from Norway is not included and must be covered by the guests themselves.
We hope you will share the invitation with the members in your union. If anyone is interested in applying for a scholarship we will need a short
application, stating the following:
